Standard Bordoodles

This is our Gus. He is a standard size Bordoodle. He weighs 50lbs and his coat is soft and on the curly side. We just celebrated his 1st birthday. We think he is the absolute cutest dog but our most favourite feature is his speckled front legs. He is the exact size we hoped for, being that we wanted a larger dog but not too big for our home. He has lots of energy but he burns it off by playing with the kids, going for regular walks, or chasing the frisbee at the soccer field. Gus is very smart and enjoys lots of mental stimulation like feeding puzzles and learning to do tricks. Gus is an affectionate dog and loves when we pet and cuddle him. He also loves other dogs too.
We’ve been wanting to add a dog to our family for a long time and we’re so happy we chose Gus. Thank you to Carl and family for providing us with such a wonderful dog!!!

We couldn’t be happier with the sweet little pup that we got from Country Raised Bordoodles in August 2021. She is a super friendly, playful, and loving dog who has been a wonderful addition to our family! She loves being with people especially kids, loves playing with other dogs, and never shows any signs of aggression. We consistently get remarks from other dog owners how calm and well behaved she is for a pup of her age. I highly recommend this breed and Country Raised Bordoodles. Carl and Grace are always there to help us with any questions we have and genuinely care about their dogs well after they have found new homes.

Medium Bordoodles

Mylo continues to be an amazing puppy, I honestly could have not asked for a better dog.
He’s weighing in at about 32lbs at the 8 months old mark. Continues to be full of energy during the day and cuddly in the mornings and evenings. Been taking Mylo to doggy school, and he’s been impressing both myself and the trainer. We are working towards getting him to find me when the smoke detector goes off, since I am hard of hearing. Already showing understanding of his duty! I have taken Mylo camping in Algonquin park twice now, and he has proven to be a great companion on these adventures. Calm in the canoe, active but staying nearby on the portages and sleeps well in the tent.

Rupert, a Bordoodle that we purchased from Country Raised Bordoodles became a special gift to our family in January 2022. Rupert is a gentle soul, affectionate, attentive, playful, smart and obedient. He was easy to train and is a great companion to our older Border Collie. Rupert’s red and white coat is course but soft. He has that scruffy “wash & wear” look. Rupert’s gorgeous hazel eyes always provide a confident gaze. His heart-shaped nose is endearing. Rupert loves to run and jump. He eats and sleeps well. Rupert has no health issues. At 16 months, Rupert weighs approx 35 pounds. Rupert has brought great joy into our everyday life and not having Rupert would be a great loss to us. As former participants in a therapy dog program with our other family dog, we feel that Rupert could be a candidate for a Therapy Dog organization or a family looking for active fun and companionship with a pet. Rupert is a sweetie and loves to snuggle, not just run. We are very grateful for the the careful breeding selection process for Rupert and would not hesitate to contact Country Raised Bordoodles again for another dog.

Mini Bordoodles

This is our almost two-year-old Pipar (Missy), a mini bordoodle, daughter of Tracy and Teddy. She is just over 20 pounds. Pipar is extremely intelligent and as a result was very easy to train. She has a basket filled with 14 toys, which she knows all by name and at the end of the day, when we ask her to find them and place them back in the basket, she does it no problem. We walk her two to three times a day for a total of approximately 1.5 hours. We also have play time with her toys. She especially loves running and catching the frisbee. She is also very affectionate and loves to be cuddled and snuggled. As she gets quite a bit of exercise, she usually falls asleep between 8 and 10 pm and sleeps soundly for up to 10 hours. We could not imagine our lives without Pip. She is absolutely wonderful. ❤.

About a year ago, Koda (Originally Snoopy) was born July 26 2021 and welcomed into our family. He is everything that I ever wanted out of a dog. He is super sweet, very playful, cuddly but not too cuddly. He sleeps a lot when left alone but always ready to go out whenever the opportunity arrives. He loves making new friends, catching frisbees in the air, going for walks, fishing, swimming, learning new tricks, going on long drives (he survived a 26 hour drive to Florida), and spending time with the family. Everytime he catches a frisbee, he likes to show off his amazing talent to everyone watching. He also follows my dad EVERYWHERE.

Our summer has been fantastic with our little YOGI! He really is a bundle of joy and we are always outside with him. He just loves it! He is the sweetest boy ever! Does so many tricks, listens very well and gives kisses all the time ;) Now at 20 weeks he is over 15 pounds so far. He loves to play, eat and take his two walks a day;) Thanks so much for asking about him and this was the greatest gift we gave our family xxx Here's a few pictures but we have way more lolll He is even posing for the camera ;)

Hi Carl,

We just wanted to provide you guys an update on Curtis (now Brutus). Brutus is almost 7-months and he weighs about 24.5 pounds. Brutus is very smart and very high energy. He loves all people and dogs and will eat literally anything. We love him very much and couldn’t imagine our lives without him. Here are some pictures of the lil’ guy.

Clarissa (now Floki) is just the best addition to our family, she is so smart and doing so well with her training!! She wants to be with us whatever we are doing but also likes her alone down time. We are so happy and love everything about her, thank you for all you help and answering our endless questions!!

I thought I would give you an update on Crissy (now Sophie). She has been doing great with her training and is a fantastic puppy! She's super smart and has a great personality. She knows all her basic commands as well as many others and has taken a puppy agility class. She loves it and is really good at it! We are definitely going to continue agility with her as she gets older. She is also learning Rally which is competitive obedience. She is doing great for being 5 months old!

We wanted to pass along some photos of Luna (Beatrice). She has been a wonderful addition to our family. She loves to cuddle and play and loves people. She has been great with kids at our family gatherings.

She is currently 6 months old and weighs 33lbs.

This is “Balto” (now Aero). He is five months old and so very smart! He has been such a wonderful addition to our family. He is loving and playful and learns very, very quickly. He absolutely loves to play soccer!

Adding a Country Raised Bordoodle to our family was a great decision! This was our first time going through a breeder and Carl and the girls were a delight, and walked us through the process with ease.

We couldn't be happier with Ziggy!! He's incredibly smart, active, funny, loving and willing to please. At just 9 weeks old he was housetrained, ringing his "doggie door bell" to go outside. He is 5 months old now and knows all of his basic commands, along with all of his toy's names.

If you're an active family, looking to add a dog to your "pack", you can't go wrong with a Bordoodle. Just make sure you go through Country Raised! They won't disappoint.
